Fashion was not the first career choice for 25-year-old Mary Solorzano, but since she started her blog, Mary wears boots, her thinking and lifestyle changed.
This Girl to Watch was born in Puerto la Cruz, Venezuela, but lives in Buenos Aire, Argentina, and graduated as a lawyer. But it was in 2015 that she decided to open her website and enter the world of fashion. “I never set the goal of being a blogger (of course, I had always liked it, but I did not think I would end up dedicating myself to it); at the beginning, it was spontaneous, I did photo shoots with my boyfriend, who was starting as a photographer, and I loved doing them. Then I uploaded them to my networks and started receiving good comments, which all started from there”.
This blogger, who has taken courses on social networks, says that fashion is the best way to express yourself, so she recommends being yourself when dressing.
Moda Ahora spoke with her at the beginning of the year, and she told us a little more about her career and why she loves boots so much.
How did you start the blog and your love for boots?
I started my blog project in 2015. My first blog postings were on September 22, 2015; a little later, I announced it on my social networks on October 25, 2015.
I quote my love for boots from my first blog post -It all started when I was a little girl, and I was given pink rain boots; I loved them and didn’t want to take them off; I wore them all the time; I didn’t care if it wasn’t raining.
