Hi guys! I’m back!
As you may have noticed, in April I was a little absent, because I spent a week in Peru, literally as a tourist, and then the earthquake happened in the country, but little by little we are recovering, but still the help must not stop reaching the neediest places.
In this new publication, I want to tell you about my trip to Peru, to which I ventured and went alone, yes, ALONE. I’m not going to lie, I was very nervous, since I had never done it before (I had never even gone to the movies alone), so I was very nervous, but after living this experience, I am convinced that I would do it again.
The first day I arrived, I took a tour of the historic center of Lima, through which I learned about its history and tourist sites (including catacombs). Once finished I went to a shopping mall in front of the sea.
I was also lucky enough to attend the Coldplay concert, SI COLDPLAY, an incredible experience. I had the opportunity to live it with one of my best friends, Nathalie Zevallos; it was worth the wait of so many months.
The next day I undertook the trip to Cusco, where I could tour and learn about the historic center, history, and conquest. I also went to Macchu Pichu, where I could travel by train and visit these beautiful ruins and settlements. Undoubtedly a place that everyone should know.
Once I returned to Lima, I took another tour to Paracas, Ballestas Islands, Ica, and La Huacachina, where I was able to do special activities, such as Sandboarding, an excursion to Ballesta Island, a visit to wineries and pisco and wine tastings, a tour to the dunes and the oasis of La Huachina.
The whole trip was one day, and I’m not going to deny it; I ended up exhausted but very happy to have lived that experience and met amazing people on the trip.
I know that the issue of women traveling alone is susceptible, so I took several precautions, such as contacting agencies recommended by my friends. I also left a schedule to my parents of the activities I would do. However, this should not be a limiting factor for us to continue to meet new places and people willing to talk to us and learn a little about your culture and you know theirs, and above all, help you take pictures.
Guys, I encourage you to have a similar experience; it is true when they say that traveling opens your eyes and mind.
Tell me about your experiences!
