Bralettes are the sexiest, most daring, and most comfortable version of crop tops. We see them everywhere, combined in various styles and colors.
They are nothing new, as they were also used in the 20s and 30s as a trend in underwear, but over the years were relegated by the brasiers and push up.
This intimate apparel is light and has no underwire, allowing the bust to fall naturally. They are usually made with lace and very soft and feminine fabrics. Thanks to their versatility and comfort, they can be worn with any clothing.
“It would be amazing if women would see bralettes as an alternative to look good and feel comfortable,” says Grace Andrade, designer of Gals, which offers the “no underwire bras.”
This Ecuadorian brand launched its first collection in February 2016 and is planning its second. “I have always liked fashion and noticed this was an exciting trend because of its style and comfort.”
Bralettes can be worn in various ways: under sheer garments, blouses with plunging necklines, or, why not, under a jacket.
