Purses, backpacks, or bags have become an almost indispensable accessory for everyone, even for men, who seek originality in their supplements. Based on this premise, Pyaf, an Ecuadorian handmade brand, was born.
Although it took five years to become a reality, it is slowly gaining a following of people who opt for a more relaxed and fun style to transport their belongings.
Pyaf’s first collection was called “Malvarrosa,” with envelope-style handbags made of fabric inspired by the “bohemian chic” style, with ethnic prints that evoke a mix between traditional and modern with tribal touches, flowery, flashy, that give the feeling of life and movement.
Different fabrics, colors, and synthetic or leather-based textures are used to create the pieces. They add some decorative elements, such as pendants, patches, embroidery, and bangs, without being too heavy.
The Nina Clutch and Layla Bucket Backpack have become her signature items.
This brand wants to be recognized as a handcrafted accessory, evoking handmade art without falling into mass production.
